Susan Dorothy Prochoroff House
Susan Prochoroff-House,
56, succumbed to cancer after an extremely valiant fight, Wednesday, February 5,
2003. She was born to George and Dorothy Prochoroff on May 22, 1946, in Enid,
Oklahoma. She grew up in an Air Force family, and lived all over the United
States including Hawaii, and Japan. Preceded in death by her father, she is
survived by her beloved husband, Andrew and his family; her mother, Dorothy of
San Antonio, Texas; her brother, Michael of Austin, Texas; her brother, Alan of
Alexandria, Virginia; and her dear friends, Beatrice Bevell and Judy
Pfannenstiel. Susan was a graduate of the University of New Mexico, receiving
her BA in 1994 and her MA in Family Studies, graduating with distinction, in
1997. She was a researcher and editor for Research & Training Associates,
Inc., of Overland Park, Kansas, and at one time was a media buyer for
Competitive Edge Advertising in Albuquerque. Cremation has taken place. A
Memorial to celebrate her life will be held Saturday, February 8, 2003 at 10:00
a.m. at Aspen Funeral Alternatives, 1935 Juan Tabo Blvd., NE. The family asks
that, in lieu of flowers, a donation be made to the charity of one's choice in
Susan's name.
