Diane's husband, Rodney Kamalii, Class of '63, passed away on Febuary 6th, 2007. He was born in Honolulu, Hawaii. He retired from the U.S. Air Force as an E-9 Master Sergeant after 24 years and had been stationed throughout the world including the Far East, Germany, Vietnam & many other states. He received several medals of Commondation throughout his career. A highlight was being nominated as Airman of the Year. Rodney worked for the California Department of Corrections for 18 years and was looking forward to retiring this year. Rodney was a bravado of health & fitness, hard work and integrity. His enthusiasm for life, entrepreneur interest and the deep love he had for his family and friends will truly be missed. Rodney is survived by his loving wife of 39 years Dianne Kamalii, daughters Evalani Wu & Kalia Mojarro; brother Clarence T. Kamalii Jr.; sisters Priscilla Dahlin & Stella Tripp; 9 grandchildren; and well as countless family on the state of Hawaii. He was preceded in death by his son Lokene Kamalii and his parents Helen & Clarence Kamalii Sr.
