Wirt C. Salthouse
President of the Radford National Honor Society in 1964
passed away.
Wirt died of Melanoma about 5 years after it was first diagnosed, when he was 46. He was married and had just had his second child a few months before he died.
His widow and children now live in Santa Barbara.
Immediately after he finished his degree at UC Davis he went to Harvard Business School, but was drafted and spent time in Vietnam before finishing his MBA. He worked for Bechtel most of the time since completion of his education, including time in Saudi Arabia.
