Update 2/3/2008 - Our winter surf has been slow to arrive, but we have plenty of snow on Mauna Kea this year. The temperatures have dropped into the 40's up at Waikiki. Did you hear about the tourist who was lost while hiking from the Mauna Kea Visitors Center before Christmas? He was caught out in an unexpected snow storm while hiking in shorts and t-shirt. I believe that the search has been called off until the Spring.Back to Top
