Attended the University of Hawaii, 1964-1967. Married. Moved to Bangor, Maine and graduated with a degree in Psychology from the University of Maine, Orono Campus. Continued with degree work in secondary education with major in English and Minor in History. Taught high school English in Maine for 6 years and worked as a sub for 2 years in the same school district. Daughter, Liane Leilani, was born in 1972. Moved to Mobile, Alabama in 1980. Began a 15 year career in technical writing and technical management. Burned out!
Started my own writing and publishing company in 1995. The major publication is for area citizens age 50 or better. Have received three major awards, one each in the last three years. My husband, who is retired navy, works with me doing the photography. We launched a photography product this year that has had excellent response.
Daughter, Liane, majored in Chemical Engineering and landed a job in Atlanta, GA. She and a fellow Chemical Engineering student married September, 1998 after dating about 5 years.
My parents, both near 80, are very healthy and active. Travel a lot, cruise whenever they can, visit all the grandchildren about once a year. Children and grandchildren in Alabama, Georgia, Virginia, S. Carolina, Washington state, and California.Back to Top
